Digital illustration is something that highlights my career as a designer. Coming up with new ideas, topical drawings or personal artwork. Designing stand–alone features is not only something I'm passionate about, it's something I enjoy.
The Home Cloud set up to be a new, online-only estate agent with big plans to revolutionize the way we buy and sell our homes. They announced a campaign to seek out a designer with an eye for branding to help shape the launch of their business.
The brief was to develop a friendly, approachable brand that would work well with future plans for online animation and advertising. I created this logo and pitched the branding with great feedback.
They appear to not be pursuing their business plan and will not be launching.
I had been tasked with the mission of "jazzing up the office" for MMR Research. The office is a converted barn so a perfect opportunity to combine the old with some new, clean and modern designs.
Creating a featured entrance took priority. Being a global company, they requested a Chinese "welcome" included in the design so I combined the branding elements with a chosen font, Mission Script, to create a blossom reaching from the wall to wall.
The second task was to create a feature on a bare wall in the office. Being given creative freedom I would create some inspirational key words along side some abstract icons. The design helps to create a fun, quirky feature sitting at the back of one of the barns.
I have now been tasked with creating designs in two other locations, London and New York.
Individual Ski Pass designs as invitations to a Aprés Ski, Christmas party. Double sided print inserted into plastic pouches and attached to lanyards to wear to the event.
I was approached by an agency on behalf of Sony Music to produce some promotional images for popular girl band, Little Mix.
I was provided with brand guidelines to create daily countdown images for the launch of their new album and single. These were to be used online as part of the promotion campaign on Twitter and Facebook.
This custom design was created as a special Christmas gift from one friend to another. Custom, black script type surrounded by festive icons to create an elegant Christmas tree. A beautiful and unique way to show a friend you're thinking of them.
Mounted onto cream 12x12 inch canvas.

MMR Research Worldwide wanted to present Dunkin' Donuts with something special to celebrate there on-going partnership and 100 projects.
I created this framed foil print design incorporating elements and colours from the MMR branding with the "Dunkin' brands" theme.
I was approached via Instagram by an upcoming clothing brand based in the North of England. They were looking for UK designers to collaborate with for the next t-shirt range.
They were very keen to release an illuminati style design to be printed on the front and back of their shirts. After a few moc designs and considering alternative directions, we settled on a circular logo.
The design can now be purchased on their website.
Over the last few years I have worked on many projects for Oxford based indie/electronic band, Very Nice Harry. From vector based artwork, gig posters and band photography to music videos and promotional material.
Sadly the band are no longer together.
NewLevel is an Indie music management label based in Oxford city. To help them get up and running with online promotion I supplied them with a professional logo which can be recognised on all forms of social media.
I was approached by 50's style fanatic, future Mrs Jenkins to create some themed invitations for their summer wedding. Taking her 50's passion into account I created a typography design that reflected this style.
The design was originally designed on black with white elements but after reviewing with the couple we chose to replicate the colour from a favourite 50's poster design.
Michael Jenkins (AKA Rally Mike) approached me to discuss a new badge logo for his website, social media and his rally car!
Mike is a keen rally enthusiast, attending events all over the world and working on his own car project - which sparked the interest in a new logo. Respraying his car, he wanted to add some sponsor graphics but also a badge of his own.
I used a soft, modern technique to construct the logo structure, then finished the layout with some textured brushes to add that worn/dirty feel.
He wanted to represent the great outdoors - using the letter 'A' from the chosen font, I created a mountain range with elements representing the moon and night sky. With the initials included in the badge, this can be used alone on other promotional materials.
Span Training are an Oxfordshire based apprenticeship provider to the hair dressing industry. The often host events and awards ceremonies that require professional invitations that represent the high quality work on show. I have created event material on numerous occasions to help promote their brand.
To celebrate 25 years in business, the MMR Research Group asked me to help and promote there anniversary party! As the anniversary falls in October, the team decided to throw a Oktoberfest themed event.
Using traditional Bavarian colours, I created this poster along with beer coasters for the event itself.
